Doctor Anna Stathopoulou was born in Athens. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Gr.T Popa in 2006. Immediately after she started working in the private sector in dermatological centers in Athens where she gained a lot of experience in handling medical lasers and aesthetic medicine treatments.
She completed her rural doctor service in Ikaria island and completed her term as a specialist in Pathology at the Spiliopouleio Hospital.
In 2012, she worked in a Canadian Dermatology clinic (Toronto) for 1 year and was particularly involved in the treatment of Psoriasis, Atopic Dermatitis, and Acne.
In 2013 she left Canada for the United States of America to work at Mount Sinai Hospital Manhattan New York (Department of Dermatology) covering the entire spectrum of clinical Dermatology in the group of leading professor Mark G. Lebwohl. She was trained in dermoscopy, mole mapping, prevention and early diagnosis of skin cancer and other dermatosurgical procedures. She specialized in treating hair loss with innovative treatment protocols.
In 2017, she returned to Greece to complete his specialization in Dermatology – Venereology at the specialized dermatology center of our country, at the “Andreas Syggros” hospital, where she stayed for 4 years and gained extensive experience in dealing with all skin diseases and Venereal diseases. During her residency, the doctor received 3 scholarships from the European Academy of Dermatology.
